Overthinking will make you do Things that you Don’t Intentionally Want To
Every word and action that you do has reasons behind it. Sometimes you do good things because it is what you have in your heart, or it feels good to do it. There are instances where you try to protect yourself from those who can destroy your peace. On the other hand, you could also do things that result in feeling guilty and regretful. Something you don’t intentionally plan in the first place could happen instantly. You might end up hating and blaming yourself for it. But please remember that your actions and words reflect what you have within. It is not to put you in a bad situation but it could be a key to helping yourself by being a little bit gentle and kinder to your heart.
Overthinking is what our mind naturally does. Sometimes, it is not the situation that causes the reaction, but it is what you have in your heart and mind. Things that do not really happen or even happening yet can significantly affect your response to your current situation. It is fine to feel worried and sad. But mapping things and walking yourself ahead to what God has in store for you will not make anything better. He does not want you to suffer from something that would not make you learn anything. So do not let your overthinking lead you to feel anxious.
It is important to restrain yourself from unhealthy thoughts. You have control over your response and what you feed on your mind. It might be hard at first, but if you are willing to go through the process, you will significantly help yourself. Always remember that your anger is not you. Instead, allow yourself to calm down and try to breathe deeply. Feed your mind with God’s word and teachings. Listen to motivating and inspiring words. Ask God to lead you to things that will feed your soul, heart, and mind. He already provided you with a lot of things.
Try not to put your situation into somebody else’s life. Each person here on earth has one unique story. Make your own and let God help you with it. Keep in mind that your life is about you and your walk with Him and not of this world. When things trigger you to think the wrong thoughts, remind yourself that He prepared everything for you. Even when you feel the opposite of believing, keep on declaring it until your mindset is aligned in His promise. Remember, you can do one thing easily if you have built the habit of doing it repeatedly. That goes the same with the state of your mind and heart. Always feed it with the thoughts of good.
Do not succumb to thoughts that aren’t good. Instead, bathe yourself always with His undying love. God loves you so much, and He has prepared numerous good things for you. Your situation right now happens for a reason. It may not seem like everything is well right now, but know that everything will be okay someday. Just constantly remind yourself that He is with you always and will help you countless times. Remember to put yourself on His side always.
