Stop Blaming Yourself For The Painful Past You Experienced
You can never turn back time, and blaming yourself can never cease the pain you feel inside. So stop being so harsh with yourself. You deserve to receive forgiveness and love. Yes, you are not perfect but let the love of God fill the emptiness in your heart. He will take away the anger and bitterness, and He will replace them with His amazing grace. Remember that God can turn the past that you experienced into a wonderful story of hope. All you need to do is to open your heart so that His love can come in and heal the wounds of your past. He will make you whole again, and you will never feel condemned in His arms. He accepts you for who you are, and what happened before can never change the fact that you are treasured by your loving Father.
Your past can never dictate your future. Seek your identity in the Lord, and do not treat yourself according to the things that happened in your life. Remember that in God, you are a new creation. You are no longer the person who lives according to the lies of the enemy. Jesus already set you free from bondage. You are destined to experience victory. So live according to what God called you and stop looking at your mistakes. Let God set you free from condemnation. What happened before can never destroy your life because God is always with you, and He will never abandon you.
Receive the love of God, and He will teach you how to love yourself. He will embrace you in this season. He will make you feel accepted and whole. He alone can change the way you see things. When you treat God as the King of your life, then you will no longer live according to your past. But you will put your hope in His promises. You will fully trust in His faithfulness, and only then will He heal your wounds and teach you how to love again. God’s grace will show you what forgiveness really means.
Things will be okay as long as you live life in the presence of God. You will never be shaken by the pain that you will encounter in life because He alone will be your strong foundation. He will lead you to the light. And when you see things clearly, you will also learn to appreciate the painful experiences you’ve been through. You will no longer hold on to bitterness. Instead, you will see the hands of God moving in the midst.
