    For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. James 3: 16, NIV This passage calls us to regularly examine our hearts. When we become driven by selfish ambition or envy, disorder and confusion follow. Often, this arises when we compare our blessings to those of others. Envy takes root when we desire what others have, leading us to compromise our values in the pursuit of satisfaction.     For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. James 3:16,NIV Check your heart and pray that God will purify it. Do not be jealous or do things out of selfish ambition because it’s when the enemy can easily come in and tempt you to do certain actions that will break your heart in the end. Evil practice starts when you do things on your own and forget to include God in the picture. Acknowledge His will so that you will always be guided.
