The Truth will set you Free

If you feel like you are in a bondage of sin and you can’t find your way out, then keep in mind that God’s truth can set you free. There is still hope. The darkness around you will fade, and soon, you will walk in the light again. So don’t be discouraged. Jesus will set you free from the chains that bind you from doing His will. All you need to do is believe and have faith in His words. You need to live according to His truth. This may not be an easy thing to do, but you need to stop relying on your own understanding. God knows everything. He wants you to follow His instructions because He knows what’s best for you. He created this world. He alone knows how this world works. That’s why, you need to abide in His word so that you will learn to live according to His truth.

The world will present different ideas that will hinder you from believing in God’s truth. People will give you perspectives that are not align to the scriptures. And the amazing thing about God is that He gave you the freedom to choose what you want to believe in. He doesn’t want to force you to follow His ways. Instead, He wants you to choose Him personally. If you will just rely on what you know, it means that you treat yourself as the God of your life. You choose to follow your ways, thinking that what you have in mind is better than the plans of God. You need to humble yourself and acknowledge God’s word. Only then will you discover the truth, and that truth will set you free.

God’s truth is sometimes hard to believe because it’s so different from the standards of this world. Most of the time, it’s even the exact opposite. For example, the world will push you to follow the things that you desire for yourself, but God will encourage you to follow His plans. The world will teach you to do things on your own, but God will always remind you to depend on His strength and love. You see, there are mindsets that we need to change for us to fully receive freedom. We need to slowly let go of the wrong perspectives and allow the word of God to consume us from the inside out. Only then will we be able to appreciate God’s truth and revelations.

Freedom is here. It’s hidden behind the teachings of Jesus. Choose to follow Him. Listen to His voice. Study His words. Obey His commands. Receive Him in your life. Open your heart and allow His presence to consume you. Get to know Him more through the words written in the bible. Love Him with all your heart, mind, and soul. And let His perfect and unfailing love break the chains of the past. You will discover more of that love the moment you read His word. Connect to His heart, and freedom will be yours.
