To those who are Still Doubting their True Worth

Open your bible, and you will realize who you are in the eyes of God. This world will impose very high standards so that you can prove your worth to others, but if you are only aware of the things that God is saying, then you will receive the strength that you need to overcome the negative things that you hear from others. You need to listen to your Creator, for He alone knows who you truly are. He determines your purpose and your worth. He recognizes the things that you can offer for His kingdom. So don’t be discouraged when others think that you are worthless. They just don’t have any clue about the purpose that God planted inside your heart.

For you to be reminded of your true worth, here are three bible verses that you can keep inside your heart:

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 139:14

David knew that He is fearfully molded by God. He is one of His wonderful creations. Just like David, you are also fearfully and wonderfully made by the One who truly loves you. It means that you are meant for great things. You are a unique and priceless treasure. You need to remember this, especially when you face situations that cause you to think so low of yourself.

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7

You are so important in His eyes. You are more valuable than the birds in the sky. If God didn’t fail to provide for them, then He will surely give you what you need. Even the hairs of your head are numbered. It means that God is so concerned about you that He knows the things that are going on in your body. Don’t be afraid because He loves you so much. He will show you mighty things. Just learn to trust and depend on Him.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

He sacrificed His life just to save you and me from hell. He wants to give you eternal life. He endured the pain on the cross because He was thinking of you. He is more concerned with your salvation than saving His own life. That’s how precious you are. Your worth can never be compared to the riches that you have. Imagine that the God of this universe chose to offer His son just to give you the chance to be with Him. He deeply desires for your heart that He is willing to die just for you to live.
