When you feel like God is not There
There is a certain season in life when you just can’t help but feel like you are alone. You can’t see the blessings around you, and it seems like God doesn’t exist. When you experience that moment, always put this gentle reminder in your heart:
God is there, and He never leaves your side.
You can’t see and feel His hands because your senses are focused on other things. Maybe your heart is too occupied by your fears, or perhaps, you are always thinking about your problems. Just be patient with the season that you are in, and don’t treat it as your enemy. Sometimes, you will go through moments that you can’t understand. Just learn to wait and trust that He is moving even if you can’t feel Him. Don’t easily follow your emotions. Sometimes, it will lead you to believe in things that never really happened. Rely on the truth that God is always present no what season you are in.
Pray that God will open your heart for His blessings. He is providing you with everything that you need. But sad to say, you can’t fully appreciate them because your senses are not sensitive enough for His moving. Maybe you fail to open your heart to God’s presence. You choose to entertain your worries and fears rather than His promises. So seek Him and ask for His help. Let Him lead you to the path that He created. Keep worshipping Him even if you can’t see His ways. Only then will you be reminded of who God is in your life. Let your mouth release praises and thanksgiving so that you will stop focusing on the negative things.
Don’t rely on your own understanding. Just because you can’t see His hands doesn’t mean He is not there. He is beyond what you can see and comprehend. So when you feel so alone right now, please don’t stop talking to God. Release everything to Him. You may not hear His answers, but He is listening. He takes note of the things that matter to you. He is not deaf. God is moving in ways you can’t see and understand. So keep walking even if you can’t fully comprehend everything that God allowed you to experience.
Have faith and believe with all your heart that He is there with you. Hold on to the hope that He gave you. Remember His words and declare them to your life. Receive the blessings that you prayed for, and at the same time, give God the chance to perform miracles. Continue to follow Him. One day, you will realize the reasons why you experience that season.
