You don’t have to Prove Yourself to Anyone
People who love you will never ask you to prove yourself. They know who you are, and you don’t have to do anything just for you to receive their love and care. Remember that you are a child of God. You don’t even have to prove yourself to your loving Father because He knows every detail of your life. He sees your heart and the things that are going on in your mind. That’s why stop pleasing those people who never really cared for you. Focus on those who love you from the inside out because they are the ones who will support you no matter what happens. They will never leave your side. They may give you some advice and remind you to do the right thing. But they will never force you to follow them. They may witness your failures and mistakes in life, but they will choose to stay and be with you along the journey.
God accepts you for who you are. He delights in seeing you do the things that you love to do. He wanted you to use the talents and gifts that He gave. And do it not because you want other people to see your abilities, but simply because you wanted to please God above all else. Be who you are because the world needs you. You may not see it right now, but God gave you something that only you can do. He provided you with enough resources and unique talents because He knows that you can use all of His blessings to glorify His name. So learn to see yourself the way God sees you, and you will never please other people but only Him.
Do not focus on what others are thinking. You can never control them. If you keep on listening to their destructive comments, then your heart will break into pieces. Yes, there are times when you can learn from others, but you need to balance things. If you think that they already wanted to control your decisions in life, then that’s the time when you need to step back and choose to listen to the voice of God. Remember your identity in Him, and only then will you have the courage to step outside of the comfort zone, and you will never afraid of what other people might say about you.
What matters most in life is your relationship with God and how you love others. Nourish your faith and choose to honor Him in your life. Focus on His will, and you will never be tempted to get the approval of others. When you know that God accepted and loved you for who you are, then you will never waste your time pleasing those people who failed to love you. Remember God’s love, and you will have the confidence to follow His will and not what other people are saying.
