Your Presence Matters

There are moments when we think that people don’t notice our presence. They simply do their own thing and forget that we are there in front of them. We feel like being neglected, and we simply don’t exist in their lives. Maybe they are just too busy, and they fail to recognize the people around them, but if you feel the same thing, please remember that your presence matters. You exist for a purpose, and you are made to create an impact on other people’s lives. You are not worthless. In fact, you are so valuable in the eyes of God. People may fail to recognize and value you, but God treats you as His treasure. He sees everything that’s happening in your life, and He deeply cares for you.

God acknowledges every little thing that you do. He knows the reason behind your actions, and He treats you as His child. He delights in spending time with you. Just keep in mind that God is there, and He is guiding you. Maybe you think that you are an accident and your presence is just nothing. But the truth is, God never creates something useless. There is a purpose behind the works of His hands. He has His own reason why He created you, and you need to discover it so that you can live this life to the fullest. Yes, there are times when you feel like you are taken for granted, but focus on God because He will remind you about your true identity.

You are loved. There are instances when the people around you, especially those who are close to your heart, tend to do things that are so painful and break you into pieces. The wounds inside hinder you from appreciating your value as a child of God.  You treat yourself like garbage because you never feel loved by the people who supposedly should protect and take good care of you. Because of what they did, you now think that your presence doesn’t mean a thing to them. Remember that people are not perfect. They may cause you pain, but God’s love will heal all the wounds inside, and He will replace your pain with confidence.

Never doubt your worth as a person. Focus on God so that you will learn to value your life. He sees your potential and your purpose. Come to Him, and He will teach you how to handle yourself. You will never feel lost in His arms. He will remind you about your worth. You are His beloved, and your presence here on earth is never an accident because it matters to those people who truly love and appreciate you from the inside out.
