Day 255 – 2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10, NIV Your weaknesses and the painful things that you experienced are blessings in disguise. They may be hard to face, but they will lead you to discover the strength of God. Apostle Paul took delight in the struggles that He went through because He knew that when He is weak, that’s the time when God will show His power. Just like the apostle, may you also experience the presence of God in moments when you go through challenges. May you…

Day 254 – Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Galatians 6:7,NIV If you keep sowing bad seeds, then expect that you won’t bear good fruits. Sometimes, what you experience in life is just the consequences of your actions. They are fruits of what you’ve been sowing. So don’t waste your time here on earth. Sow seeds that will nourish your spirit. Spend time with God and grow in His presence. Don’t just invest in things that will satisfy your flesh, but work on the blessings that will last until eternity. Sow seeds in the spirit, and you will reap the fruits that will not just…

Day 253 – Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23, NIV You will know that a person abides in the Holy Spirit by looking at his fruit. Try to observe if he has love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. Look at their behavior and be more aware of the words that come out of their mouth. Only then will you know if the person is a real follower of Christ. A person who truly knows Him is someone who is constantly growing. He is transformed from the inside out. And if…

Day 252 – Galatians 5:14
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself. Galatians 5:14, NIV Choose to serve the people around you, and don’t just think of your selfish desires. Loving your neighbor means you respect and help them. Avoid saying bad things about them. Remember that they are God’s creation. What you do to them, you also did to your Father in Heaven. Respect your brothers and sisters. Treat them as part of God’s family. You will learn to show kindness to others the moment you humble yourself in the presence of God. Don’t allow your actions and words to destroy someone’s life. Live in…

Day 251 – Mark 8:31
He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. Mark 8:31, NIV Jesus said these words to His disciples after He asked them about who He was. He already informed them beforehand that He would suffer and be rejected by so many people. And not only that, He will also experience physical death. But despite the negative things that He would go through, Jesus shared with them a wonderful promise – after three days, He would…

Day 250 – Mark 8:2-3
“I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.” Mark 8:2-3, NIV Jesus said these words before He miraculously fed the four thousand people. It all starts with compassion. He sees the needs of the people, and He acknowledges the possible consequences if He doesn’t provide for them. And because of His compassionate heart, He was able to perform miracles. Jesus moves according to love. He doesn’t make things happen just to show His power. He recognized the need…

Day 249 – John 15:9
As the Father has loved me, so have I love you. Now, remain in my love. John 15:9, NIV Jesus said these words to His disciples, reminding them to stay rooted in His love. Let’s also do the same thing. Let’s choose to abide in His presence even in seasons when we are struggling. Let’s remain in His love even when we are in pain. This world may give us so many problems, but may we never forget that Jesus loves us so much. Let’s always remember His grace because that’s the only way for us to receive enough strength. His love is all we need. So when you don’t…

Day 248 – Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8, NIV Christ saved us not because of our good works. He died on the cross while we were still sinners. He loved us even before we knew Him. That’s how important we are in His eyes. He doesn’t look at our lapses. Instead, He sacrificed His life so that we would experience eternity with Him. So when you feel guilty because of your sins, humbly surrender to God. Come in His presence and let His love remind you that there is still hope. Embrace His grace and receive His…

Day 247 – Matthew 26:28
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:28, NIV This happened during the last supper. He said these words after He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to His disciples. Jesus knew the suffering that He would go through, and it would cause His blood to bleed and His body to be in pain, but He acknowledged the power behind His suffering. He knew that it was for the benefit of everybody. He sacrificed His life so that we would be forgiven. Let’s not forget what Jesus did on the cross. Let’s not waste His blood.…

Day 246 – Matthew 23:45
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Matthew 23:45, NIV Jesus doesn’t want hypocrites. So stop focusing on the outside. Instead, deal with the things that are important to God. Work on the matters of your heart. The way you look would mean nothing if you couldn’t clean the inside. Allow God to purify your soul. Come to Him and let His love take away the bitterness in your heart. Choose to release forgiveness. Stop holding on to the things that will just hinder you from growing in…
