His Word

Day 261 – Philippians 3:13

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

Philippians 3:13, NIV

Focus on the goal and stop living in the past. What happened before may affect the way you see life, but don’t allow the pain to hinder you from appreciating God’s blessings. Remember His promises and the desires that He planted in your life. Fix your eyes on what’s ahead. Press on and keep moving. Remember that the past will never change, and no matter what you do, you can’t turn back time and change your situation. So hold on to the future that God prepared for you, and don’t lose hope. Know that God will be there to give you strength.

May you choose to keep moving despite the pain you experienced in the past.
