Day 359 – 1 Peter 2:25
For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
1 peter 2:25,NIV
Jesus is your shepherd. Listen to Him because He will lead you to greener pastures, to the place where you will feel satisfied and fulfilled. He will give you peace, and in Him, you will find rest. He is the overseer of your soul. It means that He will protect you no matter what happens. He will never lead you to harm. He loves you so much, and He will take good care of you. Just allow Him to lead you along the journey. Now that you know that you have a Shepherd, please do not live this life on your own. Listen to His voice and choose to follow His ways even in moments when you don’t understand what’s happening.
May you learn to treat Jesus as your one and only Shepherd.
