Day 360 – 1 Peter 3:3-4
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
1 peter 3:3-4, NIV
Beauty is found on the inside. So do not exert too much effort on improving the outside appearance if you still didn’t work out the important matters in your heart. Pray that God will transform you, and He will let you see the things you need to learn. Remember that He sees what’s going on inside, and He wants to heal you. All it takes is a humble heart to accept the truth that you need God to change your life. Focus on your inner self because that kind of beauty is something that will never fade. It’s of great worth in the eyes of God.
I pray that you will focus on improving your inner self and not just merely your physical appearance.
