John 13: 14-15, NIV

Jesus washed His disciples’ feet to show them what it means to serve one another. His actions became their living reminder to humbly honor and help the people that God allowed them to meet. Many times in our lives, we will be challenged to love others, especially when they commit terrible mistakes. We find it hard to accept their imperfections and weaknesses. But then, let’s not forget what Jesus did. Let’s continue to serve and love one another, even if it means going through uncomfortable roads with them. Let’s not just think of our own good, but we may also do what He did to His disciples.
