Learn The Lesson Without Blaming The Person

We can never really control the things that are happening around us. It’s something that we need to accept. At the same time, we can’t also control other people’s behavior because we all have the freedom to make our own decisions, and sometimes that freedom will lead us to suffer pain and brokenness. But then, we don’t have to blame the person who caused us pain. There is an important lesson behind the things that we are going through, and we just have to learn those lessons and move on.

I know that it’s a very hard thing to do. We tend to look at the person’s mistake rather than focusing on the situation. We just need to be careful, because the more we focus on the person, it’s harder for us to move on. Try to widen your perspective. Sometimes, the lesson is not just about avoiding those people who caused you pain, but maybe God wants to teach you how to properly handle and face people like them. If you look at what happened, you can learn a lot of valuable lessons from it, and you can possibly apply it to the future challenges that you will face.

Start dealing with the things that you can control. Manage your own perspective, and you will know how to handle difficult situations in your life. God just wants you to see things the way He looks at it. He never looks at our mistakes. That’s why try to open your mind about the greater things. What if God is just teaching you how to love through that person? What if He wants to teach you about the important things that will truly matter in the end?

Do not just look at the surface. Maybe there is so much more than the things that you can see. Ask God about the things that you need to learn. Because most of the time, God deals with the roots. He wants to dig deep inside your heart and reveal to you what you really need to change. We just need to pray for a humble heart to accept those things. The moment we discover something about ourselves, we will also learn the lessons that God wanted us to remember.

At the end of the day, God wanted you to live this life to the fullest. But for you to experience the fullness of this life, He still needs to work on the foundation. He is building something in you that no one can destroy. That’s why trust His ways and start to forgive those people who caused you pain. The plans of God are greater than what they did to you. It’s beyond what you can imagine.
