God is with you even in the Wilderness
One of the difficult moments in life is when you encounter problems that you think you can’t handle. It’s when you feel like you are walking in the darkness and there’s no one there to help. It’s when your tears can’t stop falling because of the pain you experienced. It’s like walking along the desert, and you can’t seem to find any shelter. It’s what we call the wilderness. It’s not easy to face it. It feels so devastating and painful, but the good news is God is always walking with you in the midst of storms and trials. He never let go of your hands. You may not feel…

Acts 26:22-24, NIV
But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.” At this point Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind, Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning is driving you insane.” Acts 26: 22-24, NIV Paul was an intelligent person. He knew what was written in the law, and He was even part of the people who…

Dear God, Thank you for teaching me what Humility is through the pain that I encountered
You are so good, Lord. You are so amazing in all your ways. You allowed things to happen not to punish or destroy me, but it’s there to give me lessons I can never forget. Thank you for the painful things that you allowed me to experience. Because in those moment, I slowly realize what it truly means to depend on you. In times when I can find my way out, your goodness reminds me that I always have a Savior. I may asked you before to take away the pain, but thank you Lord for not listening. Those heartbreaking seasons led me to humbly rely on your strength. You…

Trusting God is not that Easy, but it’s the Best Thing that you can do
Trust is not that easy to give. It only exists because of consistency and deep relationship. It’s not something that you can find around the corner. It’s something that you can only give the moment you feel safe and loved. And the sad truth is, this world is broken. We will experience moments of pain that will lead us not to trust and love again. This is the reason why trusting other people or even God is not that easy. Believing that He will never fail us takes a lot of faith. We can’t help but doubt because we constantly go through difficulties and problems. We find it hard to…

Acts 24:16, NIV
So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man. Acts 24:16, NIV This is what Paul explained to the governor in Caesarea. He was accused as a troublemaker and was believed to be a ringleader of a Nazarene sect (this is what they labeled Christians in the early days). When Paul tried to testify about his faith, he never failed to glorify God through the words that he said. He strived to keep His conscience clear before God and man. He remained faithful and true to the words that He said, fearing nothing. This moment was not easy, but Paul learned to present himself as a…

Acts 23:11, NIV
The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”Acts 23:11 NIV The Lord was with Paul when He experienced persecution and interrogation. People were in an uproar because of the message that he shared. They were triggered, and they tried to accuse Him of things that weren’t true. But even though Paul was questioned about His faith, He still testified about the gospel. He stayed faithful to God. And all throughout His suffering, Jesus never leaves him. He gave Paul the strength that He needed. He provided him with enough grace. He…

What’s with God that He still loved us even if we already abused His goodness?
God remained faithful despite our immature response to His love. He continues to pour out His blessings even though we choose to complain over the things He didn’t give to us. He fulfilled His promises even if we were so impatient. He was so steadfast even if we fail to appreciate the things that He is doing behind the scenes. God remained good. He never changes. What’s with Him that He never gave up on us despite our bad response to His grace? Why is it that He never gets tired of loving us? We somehow abused His kindness by the way we handled His resources. We waste His blessings…
